John 15:13-14, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” We crucified my spiritual old-self on the cross, and became friends walking with the Lord. And God first sacrificed Himself for sinners and taught how to be Lord's friend; what a blessing! We should be filled with the teachings of God every day, so that the Holy Spirit takes full control of ourselves and the blessings overflow.
